When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Drawn in 2005, pencil, "equalize" photoshop filter to give it an old look.
I like this picture though it has a few obvious problems, for instance, the odd position of the ear on the girl. Actually, that's mainly the problem that bugs me. Faults set aside, the girl is supposed to mimic the mermaid prows of ships. Only the ship is growing out of her head, and the hair is like water. Oddly enough behind the girl is a calm sea, though the boat seems to be riding turbulent (hair) waves. XD It's not so much an illusion as a concept. We know boats go in water, and this one is near water but actually not in it...annnd...I probably shouldn't try to write a description at five a.m.  So long, and thanks for all the fish! |
